Caring For Your Wood Cutting Board

Thank you for purchasing a JW Best & Company cutting board. This board will give you many years of daily use.

For daily care, wash with soap and water then dry with a towel. Stand on edge to finish drying, allowing air to circulate around cutting board. NEVER put in the dishwasher.

Threat your cutting board with "food safe mineral oil" as often as needed. In the beginning this will be more often, maybe once a week or more. In time, less will be needed. Occasionally, when you have many cut marks, you may want to sand your cutting board with 220 grit sand paper, then apply oil. I do this once or twice a year, and that is probably more than needed.

If your JW Best & Co. cutting board does warp (this will happen if incorrectly dried) it will usually flatten after a couple of days of drying.
