The Wooden Spoon, A Timeless Classic

Why the wooden spoon?

It is strong, but easy on your cookware. It is insulated and heat tolerant and therefore will tend to stay cool. Unlike some metal spoons, it is non-reactive and won't leave a metallic taste when cooking with lemons or tomato sauce. And, unlike some plastic spoons, it will not release toxins into food when heated.

My wood spoons look nice and feel nice in your hand. For the classically trained, there is a good chance they learned and continue to cook with some wooden spoons.

My spoons are made by me, in my shop. You will find cooking with one of my spoons or chopping on one of my cutting boards, makes cooking fun.
